A commission is a piece of art made at the request of a client/ person, business, or organization. The biggest difference between a piece you buy in a gallery and a commission is that you have a say in what is being made for you! I really enjoy creating commissioned work because the process often becomes a collaboration between the client and me. The following breaks down how I do commissioned work.

A contract that clarifies the agreed upon plan will be drawn up.
50% of the estimated cost is paid as a non refundable deposit.
I get to work
Once the deposit is received work on your commission commences.
I am happy to provide progress pictures while making the piece.
Sometimes I film the process from start to finish for my YouTube channel.
A piece can take anywhere from weeks to months to plan and complete.
Time frame depends on current work flow.
*A rush order price can be arranged if the piece is needed asap.
You get a one of a kind piece of art
Upon completion the second half of the commission is paid.
The piece is boxed and shipped off to you.
The initial estimate is subject to change based on time and materials. This has only happened once in about two decades of working with folks on commissions.

Most of my work is sold outside of the EU so a customs fee outside of the EU should be expected.
Customs fees are dependent on the rules and regulations of the receiving country.
In sending an email through this contact form I will have access to the information you provide: your first name, last name, and email address. Your information will be stored in my email account. I save all emails for up to at least 5 years. I will not share your information with any other parties and you will not be signed up for my mailing list unless you request to be added, cause, man, that’s annoying when folks do that.
